It's simple. Just go to "Register" tab on the header navigational bar or use any of the links available on the home page.

When registering you will be asked to complete a short form which includes standard information such as your contact details, preferred login credentials , etc.

Mandatory fields include:-

• Company Name ( For Business only )
• Full Name
• Username & Password
• E-Mail address
• Confirm PIN
• Confirmation of terms and conditions acceptance

Once registered you will receive an E-Mail confirmation.

"Look for the following reasons"

• You typed your e-mail address incorrectly (most common reason). If you try and register again, it will not allow you if your correct email address is already in the database. So if you are able to register again then it means you typed your e-mail address incorrectly the first time.
  
  
• If you do not see the mail in your Inbox please check your Spam and Junk E-mail folders as occasionally our emails are routed there; this has been reported by our Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, AOL and Gmail customers.
  
  
• Sometimes an e-mail takes as long as a few hours to get to you, it depends on your ISP. Many ISPs defer the first attempt but accept our email after a few attempts. Please be patient if you did not yet receive it as we will continue to attempt to send it.

To list your item simply click on the "SELL" tab found on the header navigational bar. The listing process is split up into several main sections as:

• Main Category
• Item Details
• Settings
• Shipping and Payment
• Preview
• Finish

The listing process is developed in such a way that you are guided through every step seamlessly.

The first part of the process is to choose the category you wish to list your item in:

Main Category

This can be revised at any time by using the "Previous Step" navigation button before listing.

Item Details

Step two enables you to enter your item name and description, a full fledged editor is in place to enable you to use HTML descriptions.

Settings

Moving on to step three, this is the biggest stage of the listing process.
In this step you can set the following:-

• Auction type:
  Standard Auction- This is a single quantity auction.
  Dutch Auction- Dutch auction enables you to list a multiple quantity auction.
  For example: if you have 100 pens to sell of identical description, you can list all of them together in a single lot. Bidders will be able to select the quantity.
  
  
• Currency:
  You can select your preferred auction currency using the drop down menu available.
  
  
• Quantity:
  This field is only active for a Dutch auction, please read Dutch Auction to know more.
  
  
• Auction Starts At:
  Here you enter the minimum price you are willing to start with. You can also set a reserve price to ensure that you do not end up selling your item at this price.
  
  
• Reserve Price:
  Enabling a reserve price effectively means you will not sell the item for less than the amount set, for example you can set the start price at $5.00 but only accept winning bids over $50.00, should a bid be placed for $49.99 the item will close without a winner.
  
  
• Buy out (if enabled):
  Buy out allows you to set an amount you are willing to sell an item straight out.
  For example; you can set the start price to $10.00 and a buy out price of $100.00. Parties who are not willing to wait until the end of the auction and interested in buying the item immediately can buy for $100.00.
  
  
• Offer-Range (if enabled):
  You can set a price bracket in which you are willing to accept. For example; if you set the price brackets from $15.00 to $100.00, interested parties will be able to offer you an amount within these brackets, you can opt whether to accept or decline these offers at any time via the members area.
  
  
• Bid increment:
  BidCayman has its own built-in bid increment parameters. (Recommended)
  You can use your own custom bid increment if preferred.
  
  
• Item featuring (if enabled):
  The following options are available to you (fees may apply), these will highlight your item on site to ensure they reach more visitors:
  Home page featured- Enables your item to be displayed on the home page. Any visitor irrespective of being a member can see your item.
  Category featured- Enables your item to be displayed on the category page. Any visitor irrespective of being a member can see your item.
  Bold text- Enables your item title & starting price to be displayed in bold on the home page. Any visitor irrespective of being a member can see your item.
  Highlighted background- Enables your item title & starting price to be displayed in a highlighted fashion on the home page. Any visitor irrespective of being a member can see your item.
  
  
• Private Auction (if enabled):
  In this feature will hide the bidders identity on the item details page. The bidders will only see the prices and not the bidder. Only the seller will be able to see all the bidders identity.
  
  
• Set start/end time:
  You can either opt to list your item right away and set a defined number of days for it to be live for or you have the option to define your own custom start/end time. By default, the item goes live right away and the duration is 1 week.
• Image upload:
  To accompany your item you can either upload images from your local computer or enter the URL of an image(s) hosted elsewhere. The image size should not exceed 500 kb per image.
  
  
• Media upload:
  In addition to images you can also upload video files too. Please note the formats supported are .avi / .mpeg /.mov. The video size should not exceed 2 MB.
  
  
• You Tube:
  You can use this to advertise your item even further via Youtube. If there is already a video on www.youtube.com that describes your item we will be happy to host it for you here. Just copy & paste the link in "Embed" field on YouTube in our provided space.
  
  
• Auto Re-List (If auto re-list enabled):
  For convenience you can opt to have your items automatically re-listed for you. Options are available to allow you to select whether the item should be re-listed when sold or auction ended and how many times to re-list them.
  
  
• Location:
  Please feed the correct country, address & zip code.
  
  

Shipping & Payment

Here you can set your shipping and payment preferences including your shipping rates and available methods of delivery.

The mode of payments we support are:

• Paypal
• Cash on Delivery
• Credit Card payment on delivery

If the item is to be shipped, please select the appropriate shipping method suitable for you.

Preview

It gives a last look as to how item will look on the website. Here you will see the final display of your item before its actually put up with all the settings and parameters set. Right below there are our Terms & Conditions. Click the check box next to accept them and click on "List Now" to post your item. You can also save it to drafts and post it later.

Finish

You are all done and only left to pay the fees if any. The charges are for the features opted for other than the default ones. You can choose from one of the three payment modes offered.

Please wait our moderator to approve the item and its content and your item will soon be online for sale.

After Listing

You can then review the listing and make changes if required. You can edit your item listing even when live via the members area.

Please Note: If even 1 bid is placed on the item, the seller can make changes only to the "Description" of the item and no other field(s). However, if the seller wishes to re-describe the put up item even more, then he can do so by deleting all the bids received on that item.
